Growth Results
This was year-2 for this variety, and it came up great first thing in the spring. but it didn't last. After my first cutting it started to turn yellow and the entire plot basically went dead.
Activity Results
Activity at first was OK, not great. After the plot turned yellow there was no more utilization of this plot.
Comments
I absolutely love alfalfa for plots, but it can be a pain in the ass to manage and maintain. I had high hopes for this variety since it is 'roundup ready' but it became my worst alfalfa plot I've ever planted. I have no idea what happened, it might have been excessive moisture, pests, or disease. But I am done with Alfalfa. It's just too much work and frustration whereas my clover plots, while not quite the same degree of attraction, grows great and is easy to maintain.
