Food Plot 4 - Hancock White Globe Turnips, and Austrian Peas

Growth Results
So I have no idea what happened to this plot. The peas germinated well but the turnips looked awful. They were stunted and a very dull reddish, yellow color. They eventually died out.
Activity Results
The deer were drawn to the peas which grew well but eventually were overgrazed and the entire plot became a ghost-town.
Comments
This is the 2nd time I've had problems at this plot. I need to figure out what's going on with brassicas here. Brassicas are easy to grow and I've grown terrific brassicas here before. It remains a mystery.
