Growth Results
For plot 2 I went exclusively with Hancock Buck Beans. These are Roundup Ready beans that put out strong green growth as well as a LOT of bean pods.
Activity Results
Activity was exceptional in early season and late season, it took a slight dip during the rut. One interesting observation was that while the field to the west had lots of eagle pods standing above the snow, the deer kept digging these Hancock Buck Beans out of the snow.
Comments
This was my first time using Hancock Buck Beans and it will not be my last. They were my top drawing bean, both for green growth and grain utilization. They put out a ton of pods. I rate these number 1 overall across my four varieties planted.
