I am 41 years old and my father first introduced me to the outdoors around 4 or 5 years of age. Since the age of 9, I have lived for hunting whitetails in the fall with my father. Growing up we always talked about finding an outfitter that was fair chase and one that would provide us with a realistic opportunity for a buck of a life time. I have searched for Outfitters for many years and have never trusted any of them. I don't know why, but I trusted Tad. His outfit is everything I dreamed of finding. He has the amount of land one must have to manage deer in the hopes of letting bucks get to the age of 5 and the year round food supply to maximize the nutrition and health of his deer population. His knowledge of his deer is second to none. He has tree stands setup for every wind situation. He can not control the weather or one's luck, but he has controlled all the variables one can. It is true, all your hunt dollars go towards one thing, insuring his hunters are given the best opportunity for the buck of a lifetime. It doesn't matter if you are a first time guest or have gone for years, all hunters and placed in a spot with a legitimate chance for a buck measuring 150 inches or more. However, as Tad says, if you want to harvest a 150 inch buck you must let the smaller one's live. In addition, his staff is the best. From Ms. Tina in the kitchen to all of his guides, I think everyone leaves believing they were everyone's favorite guest. Kentucky has taken over the state of Kansas as the number one state in the US for the opportunity to harvest the biggest whitetails and Tad Ladd provides those without their own land the opportunity of a lifetime. Not to mention, Tadd and his crew are genuinely great people.
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
