I went with a group of 5 to Pine Acres Bear Camp. After my trip last year to a different outfitter I was skeptical, happily proven to have no worries when we met Chris. Chris was an excellent Outfitter/Guide. He took good care of us and had lots of good intel and stories to share, with great skinning and quartering skills. 3 out of the 5 were successful and another passed at an opportunity on a good bear. I had a tough hunt, saw 5 bears at dark on the second night. Knowing lots of bears were in the area due to excellent trail cam photos of trophy bears, I was always ready. Unfortunately I never got another opportunity. My bait was hit every day I hunted, and the others were hit most days and nights and the success rate was excellent. Lots of others in the camp saw and harvested bears too. I toughed out the week watching all the success around me and am excited to go back next year. I HIGHLY recommend Pine Acres Bear Camp, Chris runs a fantastic outfitter.

We had mid 60’-70’s during the day and mid 50’s-60’s at night, a little rain nothing heavy. Overall the weather was good!
