I hunted the Clearwater River Camp. Garrett Bros. offer a fly in camp as well. You travel up river 62 miles in a jet boat to reach the camp. A wonderful family operation. The guides were outstanding. Bait sites were tailored to the bowhunter. Bears were more than plentiful. Color phase is fairly common. With Alberta being a two bear province it allows you to be fairly selective.
The camp operated without a hitch. The meals were fantastic and plenytful. Cabins at the river camp were comfortable and spacious enough to sleep up to 4. Hot showers and washer/dryer in camp and could be used while the generator was running.
This hunt exceeded every expectation that I had. I hope to return soon for another hunt out of the river camp.

The first 3 days of the hunt were affected by unseasonably cool and rainy conditions. After the weather broke the bear activity increased.
