although i did not harvest a bear while hunting with pine acres i saw several bears and one guy in camp took a very large bear that will defenitely make the pope and young book. i am going back to pine acres again this year and i hope to bring back a trophy black bear. the food at camp is second to none, you will not find better quality, quantity or better tasting food in any hunting camp. lottie should open a resteraunt in the off season.i found chris to be extremely knowledgeable about bear behavior and habitat, resulting in his excellent placement of stands. his unique method of baiting is inovative and productive. for the value conscience hunter pine acres offers a couple of wilderness hunt sites.i have and will continue to recommend this outfitter to anyone desiring a quality bear hunt
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
unusually warm with little wind, i perspired most days while sitting on stand and the mosquitos were rather bothersome i highly advise bringing a quality headnet and gloves to protect from the irritation of insects
