My dad and I booked our first ever Midwest whitetail hunt with Swain Farms for the Illinois shotgun season. The hunt was everything that we could have dreamed of. The lodging was great (nothing fancy but clean) and you were served and nice home cooked meal every evening. This hunt is the real deal and not a canned hunt. You will have to hunt hard if you want success. I hunted all day the entire time and didn't harvest my buck until the last two minutes of shooting light on the last afternoon. It was a busted up ten point (7-8 years old) with a rack that was on the decline and didn't score much. My dad also killed a large 11 point that scored about 138.
