Was everyone in the groups first outfitted/guided hunt and greater than we could have expected. All the stands were 15-20 yrds from the bait sites, and were at a great low angle for optimum shots. Had a stand set up in camp that we could use for practice, and we all warmed up before each sit. Any of the questions we could come up with for bear hunting Gunther, Ced, and Corey were right on the spot to answer with sound advice as we went 6 for 6 on shots and recoveries between the three of us. Biggest bear was 7'4", with both of mine measuring in at 6'10".

Gunther runs a top notch operation, and worked with us to get everyone a second bear if they wanted it. Despite being in a new hunting area had a great camp set up and even bigger bears than we were expecting.

The three of us will be back hunting with Wizard Lake only on the quest for Moose.
