I have to say that Alan puts you on some awesome animals. He was able to get my son who is 16, on a 350 class bull the first morning but my son missed at 45 yds. Now he can make this shot routinely, but under the cercumstances and holding for about a minute you just missed. That seems to be the case in alot of hunters who are great shooters. It has to do with your nerves and working under these conditions. Alan and his guides put you on some great bulls, including herd bulls. The herd bulls were what we wanted and was all that I saw everyday that I was out there except the shot angles were just not there for me as a traditional shooter. We did see some of the satellite bulls here and there as well. I was sick that he was able to get us into so many quality bulls, but they just hung up or either a spike bull stood in front of my son at 7 yds away. Mine you there was a 6x7 330 class bull 25yds broadside behind the spiker. This is hunting and the experience that I had with my son was second to none. I wouldn't trade it for anything but maybe a bull next time, NO WAY!

Good weather for the most part. Even when the bulls aren't bugling we were able to get on some great bulls with great calling by Alan and the rest of the quides. They really know how to get you in close with those herd bulls.
