What a great week! We booked this hunt knowing it was going to be a tough hunt.. From the first time we spoke with Scott, he was upfront and honest about what to expect.. He told us that we were going to have to work hard to kill a big one as the bucks would most likely be in lock down this week.. His honesty was the deciding factor to book with Scott.. He wasn't trying to just "sell" us this hunt by telling us about how many big deer he has and and how great his farms are like other outfitters I spoke with... He was 100% honest about what to expect and I was up for the challenge..

I hunted 5 days, all day and saw plenty of deer.. passed on a few smaller 100" deer and both my buddies missed P&Y deer during this week.. Scott worked his butt off to get us on deer but sometimes things just don't come together.. My last day there I had an incredible hunt.. My buddy saw a 150 class ten point the night before so the following day scott had a plan and he put me right on this deer.. The wind was perfect all day (NW) and then was forecasted to switch for 3 hours in the afternoon (unexpected) before turning back to an ideal wind, and wouldn't you know it, at 2 pm i look up at 45 yards on the ridge the there he is with a doe wind checking the ridge.. What a beautiful 10 point! He ended up winding me but Scott definitely put me on him and knew where he would be.. Scott's stand placements are incredible and with over 100 lonewolfs stands, he takes no shortcuts!

I know for a fact that we will be back to hunt with Scott.. BCO get 2 big thumbs up from me. His lodge is incredible as well and they provide some of the best home cooked meals I've had in a long time.. Can't wait to hunt here again soon!!
