In 2 and a half days of archery elk hunting everyone in camp either killed or wounded an elk. I saw numerous Giant bulls and ended up killing a solid 5x6. It was my first elk hunt and one of the greatest hunting experiences of my life. Amazing animals, breathtaking scenery, and great people. It was a 10!
Thank you Kurt for reporting your hunt with us at Grouse Mesa Outfitters on this site. We really enjoyed hunting with you and all the guys. We all had close calls on some really big bulls but just couldn't close the deal, hopefully next year. Being our first year outfitting we had one heck of a year. Our success rate was right at 90% for the year with every season bringing in nice bulls and everyone in every season got a shot opportunity which was really spectacular.
