Ended my hunt the 1st day this year. Approximately 15 minutes into shooting light had shot a nice mainframe 10pt at 15 yards. Had I waited ten minutes a larger buck posed a shot of equivalent distance. Waiting an hour in stand before getting out I saw a total of 2 shooter bucks, 1 doe and 2 coyotes. Great action and stand location! Upon arriving to camp prior to the hunt we were welcomed to a brand new lodge with all the amenities and great food. Made the rest of the week at camp very comfortable.

Weather was not a factor for me however the first couple days were unseasonably warm followed by a cold/rain front with horrible wind conditions. I believe this potentially affected the others at camp
