Bowhunter's Paradise

I went to Bowhunter's Paradise with high expectations due to the great reviews on this website and the bowhunter success pictures on Jim's website. I have to tell you my expectations were met and exceeded. I had a blast and saw a lot of critters. There were 4 in camp and over 4 days we took 6 animals. Not counting the 3 blown shots on hogs not recovered. I had one of the blown shots. Jim, I promise I learned my lesson on this!!!! Only quartering away or broadside shots from here on out, even on just hogs!!!! I even think Belle was laughing at the torture I went through!!!! Jim is a salt of the earth guy and works his tail off to ensure you have a great time. If you're ever down there and kill a hog, have him cook you one of the ham or shoulders using his special recipe. It was awesome!!! I have all ready booked for next year and I'll be going twice if I can talk my wife into it. Jim, thank you so much for allowing us to experience a piece of Paradise!!!! I had a great time Bowhunting with you Roger--the Spot & Stalks were great fun; next time I guess. Thank you for penning such a wonderful report--I acknowledge that we do work hard for our Bowhunters; but it is humbling to see the response to what we offer here in Paradise....who wouldn't be fun to be around if they got to do what I get to do for a living everyday--now some might call it work; but I've gotta admit it sure is fun gett'n to Bowhunt everyday. It was actually cool in the mornings warming up to high 80's in the afternoon. However, you stayed nice and cool in Jim's box blinds.
