Our group of three hunted with Josh at Outland Outfitting in May 2013. Josh had numerous bait sites and all of them were being hit when we got there. The first night out I shot a nice black boar,my dad shot a really nice chocolate color phase boar and my our friend Jeff scored on a really cool looking blonde boar. Pretty impressive when you can kill three different looking bears in the same location!We all used rifles for our first hunt but we will be back with our bows. All of us shot our bears under 20 yards! The bait sites are spread out well and there are a lot of bears. The hunting was great. There were two other hunters in camp that passed on bears and eventually both shot bears later in the week.
Josh had a nice cabin rented at Cooks Campground which is located right next to Cedar Lake. We fished in the mornings and hunted in the evenings. This is a simple hunt, bring your own food and take care of yourself.I have been on several other guided hunts and I would recommend Outland Outfitting to anyone!
