I will start by saying that I honestly believe bears are my nemesis animal. This was my 4th hunt and my second with this outfitter and I have yet to kill one.... Yvon and his son Phillip do an excellent job trying to put you in the right place at the right time. During both my hunts with them, they strategized hard to make sure opportunities for all the hunters in camp were maximized. These guys work hard to keep you on fresh bait and accommodated as best they can. Unfortunately they can't control mother nature, but if they could... WOW! I had a close call with a monster bear on the first night of the hunt, completely in range but with no shots due to the thick nature of the timber. The remainder of the trip was spotted with sightings and my hunting/filming partner killed a smaller bear on the last evening of the trip. I would highly recommend this outfitter, just make sure I'm not in camp that week so you're not influenced by my bad bear luck.
