I recently enjoyed my second hunt with Ron and Jeannine Dare at Bear Track Outfitters in Manitoba. All aspects of my experience were again excellent. Last year I hunted the Lake baits. This year I hunted the ATV accessible baits. I had Darren Shipp as my guide. Darren is Great, both as a guide and as a person. The bait sites are constantly monitored and rebaited. The tree stands are safe. Every effort is made to have you see Bears. The cottages are comfortable and clean. This is not a camp where you'll be "roughin it". All meals are prepared by Jeannine Dare. The quality, quanity, and presentation of the food is excellent. Ron's equipment, boats, motors, ATV's, etc., is all in good working condition. Both Ron and Darren know Bears and Bear hunting inside out! My final comment is that I have rebooked for my third year, next Spring. I wouldn't be doing that if there were problems. Harry's Outfitter Review is a solid representation of the hunt we try to provide to every guest at our camp. We are fortunate that Harry chose us to hunt with a few years ago because it's such a pleasure having a pure gentleman in camp. We'll be seeing Harry next spring again.
