I recommend this outfitter

Very well run outfit. Good communication before trip starts. Very well organized from the Holiday Inn in Montreal to the Bush and Back. Richard and Amanda communicate with each camp every night to see what everyones needs are and to keep track of the Caribou movements. I went on this trip with a Compound and a Long Bow. Unfortunately I only had one opportunity for a bow shot in the first 5 minutes on a medium size Bull and I passed. I never had another Bow shot opportunity after that, but was able to take two Bulls with a borrowed rifle from a tagged out hunter. All six of us in camp tagged out on Bulls. It was a tough hunt. There were a lot of Cows and Calvs moving through but not a lot of Bulls. The Weather was amazing. We had super high winds average 30+ mph & even had 60 to 70mph winds with higher gust for 2 days. We had a lot of freezing rain & snow. Since there were not a lot of Bulls coming through we did a lot of hiking up high ridges, through swamps and bogs, searching for Bulls. The guys in the other camps told me they did not have to do much hiking since they so many Bulls coming through. Had a great time and plan on going back to try again with the Bows. The other JHA Camps that same week experianced some awesome Migrations and easly tagged out on nice Bulls. I Highly recommend this outfitter.
