Dustin Bowers (resident)
Not allowed to hunt with dogs anywhere near where I'm at in Va and only two buck limit.
End hunting with dogs
frederick reed (nonresident)
Quit running bear dogs for 2 months before deer season
Logan Anthony (resident)
Deer numbers are as low as they have ever been.
Brandon Doering (resident)
Dog hunting has hurt the deer population and quality so much.
If the VDGIF would restrict Virginia to two bucks, 8 points 15 inch spread minimum, people would be coming here instead of Iowa to hunt. This state has so much potential.
3 buck limit, 6+ weeks of gun hunting in most of the state and allows dog hunting for deer. It seems like we're stuck in 1950's management.
Timothy Schott (resident)
The total amount of deer seen (doe and buck). I also harvested 2 does.
No limits on buck size and generous bucks may be taken. Hunting with dogs in the east may alter deer movement.
Todd Elliott (resident)
Not a fan of EAB program in Fauquier County
3 buck limit, dog running and very long rifle season seem to make it tougher every year, could vary in other counties though. May not even get a license next year and just hunt in KS.
Isolated pockets of quality deer, but liberal limits and either 2-3 bucks per license impacting the age structure of bucks
