Mr. Schulte, along with 3 other hunters were in a Drop Camp archery hunt, September 2006. This is an unguided hunt. The camp cook gear was stolen from this camp just prior to their hunt, most likely by the area sheepherder as he has stolen from us in the past. We were not aware that the cook gear had been stolen until Mr. Schulte's group was packed in to their camp. The very next day a packer arrived with cook gear. We hunt in an area that is non-motorized, so the cook gear, mantels, etc. were packed in just as soon as they could have been to the camp by horseback. Mr. Schulte did get his elk and stated he had a GRATE TIME, I'm sure he meant "Great" time. We are sorry he did not have his cook gear when he arrived in his camp. One of his camp partners did send us an email after the hunt about their dissatisfaction with the camp, and we did send a letter of apology. The hunting partner that sent the email missed one (or more elk), so at least they had opporunities to take elk and we were very sorry their pots and pans had been stolen.
Some light rain, snow the last night
