We saddled up the morning of the first dayat 5:30AM The guides were in poor shape as the partied in cabin next to us until 3AM.
Rode up the mountain on mules when we stopped we were told where to hunt from. We were told they would come back just before dark to pick us up. No guide all day long.
I am not in the best of health but my 3 buddies were they got the same treatment the next 5 days.The food was amateurish at best. THe drink at dinner was KOOL AID.
The cabins were small I would estimate 9 x 9 with a wood stove. Mice ran around the rafters all night. The toilet facilities were an OUT HOUSE 100 yards from the sleeping quarters. Only one shower in camp next to the KItchen.
They left hunters in the forest who were not familiar with the terrain.
My advice is dont BOOK with B bar C.

I have hunters that booked with me and saw this posting so I thought I would respond. Tony had SERIOUS health and ability issues, when he was in camp we made lots of special provisions for him. We tried to work with him as best as we could he could NOT get on or off his mule by himself and had trouble walking the flat 150 feet max to the outhouse. Even though we do our best to accommodate even those of limited ability he probably should NOT have come on this rifle elk hunt. We made special accommodations for him so we could get him out to the woods every day. Of course hunters are in unfamiliar woods. Post or Stand hunting was the ONLY possible method for this person to be able to hunt at all. Every spot is pre-scouted and chosen for the highest chance of success. Incidentally, Camps are 15 by 15 log cabins the outhouse is appropriately located a sanitary distance from camp but NOT 100 yards. Call or e-mail for lots of references that can attest to the quality of our services. The food is always good. He knew what kind of hunt we offered and he received all the services promised.
