we spent months looking for a good whitetail hunt that we could afford and be satisfied with when we came acrossed illinois wildlife connections website the deer were huge and then i clicked on the pricing im glad i did we called Ryan to book our first hunt. When we pulled up to the lodge we knew then that we made the right choice.Ryan met with us and showed us to our rooms and around the lodge then ask if wanted to see the areas that we'll be hunting thats when it got better there were deer with giant racks every where. The next day we set out to our stands i could not believe it at day light i seen 10 deer which 5 were bucks no shots with a bow 50 yards away.We went in for lunch put it this way you will never eat like this at home lunch,dinner was worth the price of the hunt the guides, Ryans family everyone their was outstanding this is a place you want to go to and hunt and meet great people.I did not shoot a deer i could of shot at a huge 10 point but chose to pass up a 45 yard shot at dark on the last day (buck of a lifetime)that's when i knew i was coming back in 2008.The two guy's that booked with me both shot deer one scoring non typical 148 3/8 This is where you want to hunt whitetail deer once you hunt with Ryan and his guides you there is no doubt you will re-book for many years
