WOW just started up in the fall of 2007 and I was hesitant on going through a new outfitter for my first whitetail hunt. The owner, Dave Flora, and I communicated numerous times through email and a few phone calls. He got me excited about it from the first time I spoke with him.
On leased land of about 1000 acres and only a few hunters before us we had over 60 stands to choose from. The first evening we arrived we were put in stands once we got there. We hunted for 5 solid days and saw plenty of deer.
Our guide Larry made plenty of suggestions and catered to our needs. Whatever we wanted he gave us. After passing on many spikes, 4 pointers, does and a 115 class 8 pointer I know there are plenty of deer. I saw more deer in the 5 days I hunted than I saw in the whole season in Vermont and New Hampshire combined.
I have already booked for 2008 with high hopes.
Dave, Mike and Kurt were great guy's to hunt with these guy's are passionate about deer hunting and they displayed this all week long. These hunter's were definately excited about being in Ohio to hunt whitetail deer and I couldn't help but get excited myself. It is a great feeling when you have a guest come in and appreciate what your doing, it makes it all worth while. Next year we are going to do everything we can to ensure a successful hunt for these hunter's and we are looking forward to having them in camp again and thank you very much for the kind words Dave Flora
