I recommend this outfitter

The outfitter contacted me many months prior to the hunt to iron out the details which is always a plus. He picked us up at the hotel and drove us directly to camp. Very comfortable wall tents with a hot shower and excellent food. The weather was variable from snow to sweating in a t-shirt all in one week which seemed to slow the number of bears. He has moved his hunts up one week for 2008 to allow a little more stability in the weather. In 6 nights of hunting had 4 individual bears in bow range, a couple which returned multiple times. 3 were too small, the 4th was of good size and I shot him. Both of the other hunters in camp had shot opportunities. The outfitter is also a taxidermist and took excellent care of the pelt. He worked very hard tending the baits and does reuse a stand site that has already yielded a bear for another hunter that season. Overall, very good camp and I think with a little more cooperation from the weather, next year will bring more bear activity.
