I hunted with Jim for 6 days - spending many on stand all day - I saw about 17 different bucks ranging from spikes to a 130 class 9 point that I passed on (dumb mistake). He has the land, and knows the properties intamately. It was very warm the first 3 days of the hunt and was a major deterrent to deer movement. I would hunt with Jim again.
After talking with Bob I agree with everything in his review except for the logistics. Bob has emailed the bowsite and asked them to change that part of the review. I live 20 minutes from KCI airport and my hunting ground is all within 15 minutes of the house. Bob was correct, the weather was hot and at times the hunting was slow but 17 bucks in six days with 12 of those bucks within bow range is pretty good under those weather conditions. I take one bowhunter per year and hunt an area where at least four bucks have been taken that would gross over 200 inches all within five square mile area of my hunting ground. This ground is not hunted until my hunter gets here in the smack dab middle of the rut. My one hunter stays at my house and becomes part of the family for 7 days.
