I was in pursuit of completing my NA deer slam with my bow and I looked at a lot of outfitters. Richards operation proved to be the best. I had multiple opportunities at P&Y bucks and passed up bigger bucks than the one I shot. He uses a unique early season technique that puts a lot of bucks withing bow range 10-30 yards, which is unheard of for Coues deer. Any bowhunter interested in chasing Coues deer needs to give Richard a call.
Coues deer hunting with a bow is one of the most difficult animals to harvest in North America! 65 inch P&Y should speak for itself. Most Outfitters and Guides do not want the hassle of such a low percentage hunt, we welcome them! We have developed a strategy over many years that puts the odds more in the hunters favor.

I hunted the early season when temps are over 100 degrees and humidity is high because of monsoons. It's worth every second for a Coues deer!!
