Bowhunter's Paradise

To rate Bowhunter's Paradise and it's owner Jim as excellent is an understatement. This was my third trip to the ranch and each time I can't wait to get back there. On this trip, I took a great hog. I saw and/or had opportunities on Black Buck, Fallow, Rams, Goats, Oryx, Red Stag, Axis, turkeys and Whitetails. The whitetails I saw were unbelievable. One in particular, I can only describe as a "freak of nature." A Texas bodied whitetail buck should not have horns that big (probably 160s or 170s). I really wish Whitetail season was on. I would have came home with more critters had I not blown shots. While I did have a lot of opportunities, this place is not easy to hunt. The animals are WILD!!! If they see, hear or smell you they're gone. The lodge is great and comfortable. The food is equally great, with Jim doing most of the cooking. His wife, Kim did cook and I must say, her cooking is great, even better than Jim's. Sorry, Jim but those Jalapeno poppers were excellent.
If you are considering a Texas hunt for exotics, whitetails, turkeys or hogs look no further than Bowhunter's Paradise. I Highly Recommend this ranch.

With all the input from guys like you we're hopefully gonna get even better--we did build this place for you and I'm soo excited what the future is gonna bring for us here at Bowhunter's Paradise (thanks to Guys like you)!!
P.s. I just might forget to tell Kim about how great you think her cook'n is--we wouldn't want her to get as big of a head as me now would we!!!!!!
