I should start out by saying that I think you can judge how any hunt will go by the people around you and those that assist you. First off we were greated at the airport by one of the most kindest persons I have ever met. Deidre` Mathews was a joy to be around and treated us with all the hospitality one could ever want. We arrived to a large adobe looking lodge with all the amenities of a fine home, Skulk got us settled in and took us to the bar where we met Evan and were treated to our first of several 5 star meals cooked up by Martin and his wife.

The blinds over the water holes were comfortable and quite large. Lunch was brought to you in the afternoon. The sheer quantity of the animals we saw on the 5000 acre concession was truly astounding. The only bad time on the trip was when I wounded a Kudu. The trackers and the owner spent many hours over 2 days tracking him until his track was lost amongst all the others. They put forth every effort to find the bull and rectify my mistake and for that I am truly grateful. I was told that he will surely be found when the buzzards arrive.

Between the excellant lodging and the 5 star meals from Martin and his wife, the great friendship of Evan, William, and Skulk, and the truly fine game care of there staff, we had the greatest hunt one could ever hope for. Evan Sloan along with William Drummond run a first class highly professional operation that I cant wait to return to with my Dad and my son once again. Thank you folks for everything.
