A fantastic experience! I saw more bulls the first morning than I had seen total in 4 previous elk hunts. My guide called a very nice trophy right to me the first evening. I saw enormous bulls almost every day. My final evening we were surrounded by big bulls. Two of the three others in camp had an opportunity to kill a nice bull every day. However, they were both holding out for a monster herd bull which Wes had them on each day. They had their chances. Wes and Rachelle run a great service. They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and they have fabulous land leased. What could be better than a chance at the trophy of a life time each time you go out?

In spite of really hot weather, Wes and his guides seemed to be able to predict where the elk would travel for water and to bed each day. I guess this comes from a lot of time out in the field and excellent scouting.
