I recommend this outfitter

2006 Hunt: The elk were there, they just wouldn't respond well to calling. Success rate this year wasn't as good as 2005, but I still had an excellent time even though I did not get a chance at an elk. They hunted mornings and afternoons (usually took a lunch break), and on only one afternoon did I not see elk. We also saw several moose (including a bull that was monster and a few really nice muleys. Most importantly the accomandations are First Class, and this years camp cook was an excellent cook and great conversationalist. I had a great time.

2005 Hunt: Bottom line - Saw a 6x6 on Friday afternoon; 12 different bulls on Saturday including one 7x7, 2 6x6s, 6 5x5s, and 3 spikes; Sunday we saw 3 5x5s and my partner took a 5x6 that green scored a gross 314. We heard numerous bulls bugling everyday. At times we were surrounded by bugling bulls! We also saw several moose (including a bull that was an easy 36") and a few muleys.

I booked through Matt Burrows at Stick and String Outfitters and highly recommend his service.

I understand that Tom (Natural Adventures) is no longer conducting this hunt.

Outfitter's Response
Agree

The 2006 season, as John said was tough, the elk for some reason only they know, just weren't responsive making them very difficult to bowhunt. As stated, I have sold this part of my operation in order to concentrate fully on trophy deer and antelope hunts on Colorado's eastern plains and some very limited Kansas hunts.
