Had 7 guys in camp for this week, over the (5) days we had 4 days of rain with over 2" overall on this "water hole" hunt. Three of our guys were able to fill their tags from the water hole blinds, and 4 ended up going with spot and stalk (one being a really cool decoy hunt that we all got to watch unfold and wished I had a video camera).
JJ & Mark busted their tails getting us onto goats after conditions turned for the worse, really could ask nothing more from them as they put us where we needed to be to get it all done. 7 for 7 in a very wet goat hunt. These guys are top rate and went well above what is typically expected. Just take a look at the skies behind me in the trophy photo (sorry I did not get to take more time to clean him up, we were dodging some pretty severe storms at that time)
Food was excellent, Connie was a great cook and I think we all put on weight during the trip, hunter house had everything that you needed and they have about the best and simplest lunch setup I have seen on a hunt yet, no worries about getting a lunch that you won't want to eat here.
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
Rained more than they could ever remember for a second week pronghorn hunt, was cold during storms and never got hot during the entire trip.
