I had a great time hunting with Ron. He went above and beyond my expectations on trying to get me on a big bear. I wasn't ever able to get a shot at a bear the size that I was after, but it wasn't due to a lack of effort on Ron's part. I saw 12 bears during the hunt and passed on some smaller bears. I also saw some sows with cubs. It just worked out to where the big bears that I saw never gave me a shot oppurtunity with my Recurve. The very last evening of the hunt I watched a sow with her cubs for over two hours. This particular sow kept a nice size boar from coming in to the bait and giving me a shot at it. I got a ton of pictures that evening. When Ron picked me up, I told him then that was the most fun I had ever had bowhunting and I never even bent my bowstring. And I still absolutely mean that. The things that Ron had control over, he did an excellent job at. We stayed in comfortable cabins. The food was great. Ron, his wife, and his guides were all great company to be around. I definately recommend hunting with Ron. I will definately be going back to hunt with him soon.

We had a few days that got pretty windy. Also had some days where the wind would change directions a couple times through out the evening. Ron can't control what the weather does on the hunt, but he definately done his best to put us in the best spots for what the weather was doing.
