During my 2013 bow hunt K&K continued their tradition of providing a opportunity to harvest a trophy mid-west whitetail. Our camp had a couple of rough rain days that hurt the effort in the field but a weather change towards the end of the week had deer on their feet. I did harvest a 4 YO buck on the last morning of my hunt and am happy to have made the trip to Kansas in 2013. This was my 4th trip to Kansas with K&K and I can't say enough about Keaton Kelso and his team. Keaton, Karen (camp chef) Mark and Jeremy did right by the hunters all week. Solid job by all. Today I start practicing to get ready for my 2014 journey to the tall cottonwood trees in SEK.

Bad weather hampered the hunt with 2 days virtually washed out by torrential rains. After the rain and wind shift, the deer seemed more interested in moving about.
