I recommend this outfitter

Our hunt was a Semi-guided hunt, which we chose because of the price. On the day we arrived we were driven to our properties and shown the different routes to access them. We were not shown exactly were stands were because we didn't want to put that kind of traffic all over the property the day before we hunted. Since we were "Semi-guided" we weren't taken to and from the deer stand and on the first morning 2 of our group were unable to find their stands which they said was due to poor markings in the woods. They did find their stands once the sun started coming up. The other two of us found our stand fairly easy. Most of the deer we saw were does, yearlings, and small bucks, which was probably due to the weather being somewhat warm. It was mid 40's in the mornings and usually would warm up to high 60's low 70's. I did however get to see the biggest buck I've ever seen in my life on an evening hunt on an alfalfa field, this made it all worthwhile to me, despite not getting a shot at him, I watched him about 70 yards away for 40 minutes. This next day our guide Wes helped us hang a stand at midday on that same alfalfa field and three of us hunted it. Again 2 of the 3 of us saw a 8 and 9 that were shooters, but weren't given a shot opportunity. We went back to Wes and told him we wanted to hang 2 more stands because we knew exactly where they were coming into the field at. He told us he didn't think that was a good idea but he would do it if that's what we wanted. So we hung to more stands at midday and all 4 of us hunted the field. Our luck ran dry and no bucks showed up that evening. Overall we had a great time. We were very pleased with Wes and the efforts he made for us. The cornfields hadn't been cut by the time we were there which he said put us at a disadvantage. I believe the routes to the stand could have been better marked, maybe used reflective thumb tacks, everything looks the same in the early morning dark. I'll more than likely be going back to Hadley Creek, the bucks are definitely there. And I think the Semi-guided hunts are adequate in getting you an opportunity at a mature buck.
