The Lodge At Little Duck

This was a wonderful hunt in all respects....It was everything I was hoping for and then some. We saw a lot of caribou and many outstanding bulls. Everyone in camp killed two bulls. The group before us tagged out and I would assume the groups coming in after us did also as there were a lot of caribou around when we left. Accommodations were first class all the way... Fantastic food, open bar, nice rooms with showers, Satellite TV, etc. The staff was great...very knowledgeable, hardworking guides, a great chef and a great waitress. After I filled my tags I did a little fishing and caught some nice fish. Dave Fisher, the manager, was very helpful when I booked this hunt.. He was very quick to answer any questions I had....everything he stated was right on. I hunted with my rifle instead of bow as I've been having some shoulder problems, but this area is really ideal for bowhunting. There were a lot of trees, boulders, ridges, etc. to use for stalking. If I go back, I'll be bringing my bow!!!! The scenery was spectacular. Caribou could be seen from the Lodge at times.. The weather was decent.. Two days were windy, but it was relatively mild and we didn't get any rain or snow.
