Mr. Clendenin made an inquiry about our hunts and told me he was still waiting on a third person to confirm on the group to come and hunt. We get contacted by phone and email by many different people all the time. When someone inquires and does not book I take it to mean they are not serious. This is a business and I take the ones that are willing to book when I have the availability for what they are looking for. When someone books with us I will have what I say I have or not book them. I never accepted any deposit from him and a hunt was never booked and he did not discuss a hunt date with me. I informed him in the email that I did not have them at this time. The reason I don't is because the doe hunts he inquired about have fawns on the ground right now and that we have our management levels of our axis does under control. We will have more in the future, but at the moment the mangement levels are where we need them to be. We do not do put and take axis doe hunts here. We hunt what we have from our self-sustaining axis herd. We do offer the ability to run hunts year around because they breed year around but at certain times we can have some that may die of old age or fighting or get ill from harsh weather conditions. This is out of our control. In the event that something like that would have happened I would have refunded their money or given them credit towards another type of hunt. These are living creatures and not inanimate objects. You can not control them or their behaviour. I made attempts to explain this to him in an email after he informed me that I should change my website in his opinion. I told him in an email that I would consider that and make changes to try to explain this to others. I have since made a call to him and have yet to get a call back. I feel that I have handled this in the best professional manner possible to try to explain but I can't do much more when the other party does not respond.
