Well where do i begin? Our party told Jason Johns we were arriving at app.3 o'clock. When we arrived to this place, it was sort of a dump. With the pictures that were online, it did not look the same. I understood they had a tornado go through 2 yrs ago, hard times, no money,but come on, clean it up a bit. It wasn't a great 1st impression at that. When we arrived Jason's mom greeted us with try to be quiet my grandson is trying to take a nap. Really?? If i wanted to stay with my mom and kids, i would've stayed home! We were not informed that this was a lodge that had multiple people here. Weird people at that! Mom thought there was 4 of us and supposed to be 8 but 6 only showed. We slept 4 deep in a 8x8 room with bunks made with 2x4's and plywood. 2 in another room. Sleeping sucked! Not to mention mom and kid were there everyday. We had no idea this was like this. We waited 3&1/2 hrs for Jason to get home from his guided fishing trip so he can show us the lands. When he finally arrived, he showed us alot of turkey lands but all the lands were 10 miles away. We also brought 2 atvs and were not able to use them. Waste of time!!While waiting for Jason we hung around the outside of lodge (wanted to have lunch but kitchen was a pigsty. Food from last nite dinner at 3 in the afternoon still on counter.)Hire a good maid! Also kid was sleeping. Mom saw us taking pics in yard of old antique bikes and had a fit. She said" Have you all got no class?" " You all are fucking assholes and get out of here!" We looked at each other and said,"What the fuck just happened?" We started looking for other places right away because we did not feel comfortable at all. Not welcoming at all here! Jason showed up all in a huff and totally ignored us. We explained what happened and he was forgiving. Mom also was forgiving. All in all it was a shitty weekend! $450 a night for 6 people for shitty sleeping accomodations. Jason really paid no attention to us. Worried about making his money fishing instead. . We all had a shitty time! Jason and family really have a hard time welcoming new people to the lodge. Have to learn how to welcome people better, get someone to clean that nice place, and tell people the truth before they come all that way. I would of turned around and went back home myself.In no way i would have paid for this but went along with the men and paid. Clean that place up Jay!

Well , the guys never booked a hunt with me . They knew more than i did so it was self guided. I dont allow anyone on ATV on my ground accept me . I had just rained a foot , ya no atvs . They never asked to rent the whole lodge, i have other guests fishing at that time of year. My lodge Isis beautiful it appraises at half a million ,just the lodge . They left beer bottles everywhere and stole a part off my.boat to try and get back at me for their lack of turkey knowledge. Who rides a damn atv to a roosting area anyway ? How can someone review me who didn't hunt with me? We are usually 80 _90 % on turkey guided trips . I even offered a break because some guys didn't show. Ya know what eles they acted like jackasses in front of very nice Amish folks who.fish n hunt with me every year. They also made my mother cry. My son is always always gonna be here so anyone who has a problem with a family run lodge can kiss my ass . They need manners ,they got lucky not to have got kicked out. In short my lodge is good enough to to be on the outdoor channel several times a year but not for them huh. Well maybe they can find turkeys at the ritz.
