This was my second successful hunt with Mike...I took a nice bear in the Fall (2012) and couldn't wait to return!
This time, for the first time, I took my wife (a non-hunter) with me and she had a blast -- fishing, looking at trailcam pics, sitting in the stands (with and without me) taking pictures, etc...
The lodging is outstanding (cabins on a lake) and the food was great (both my wife and I have food allergies and Mike and his wife went to great legnths to ensure that we didn't go hungry)...
I would highly recommend Whiteshell Outfitters to anyone looking to kill a nice black bear on a vacation of a hunt!

Manitoba was experiencing a late spring (the ice had just melted the week before) and the weather was a bit chilly and wet (my mistake for not being 100% prepared) but that didn't stop any of the hunters in camp -- four bears over 6'!
