This was our second consecutive season hunting with Dustin Noble of Noble outfitters in South Central Nebraska. We had drastically different conditions than during our first hunt with Dustin last Spring. A fresh snowfall earlier in the week had the birds bunched back up in their winter flocks. We had a fun, yet challenging hunts stalking these birds up and down in the snow and ice covered cedar hills and canyons. In spite of tough conditions, Dustin constantly kept us in birds. We had multiple opportunities every day of the hunt, and we successfully filled our 6 tags with truly trophy quality western birds.

If we were strictly shotgun hunting we could have been tagged out the first day. The large groups of bird we encountered on the first two days made our bowhunting opportunities much more challenging than they usually are. You NEVER get put in a ground blind hunting with Dustin. These are all up close, in your face run and gun hunts, using a combination of stalking & decoying to get you in range. I stongly suggest anyone planning on doing a hunt for Merriam's, Rio's & Hybrids, give Dustin a shout. It's absolutely the most fun you will ever have turkey hunting!
