This was my first time hunting in Montana and it was a great! Both Keith & Rob were outstanding guides and hosts for the week I was there. The food was excellent, the lodge/house was very nice and comfortable (in fact it is nicer than the house I live in)The animals were plentiful, Loads of Whitetail deer!!! In a 24 hour span I saw whitetail, mule deer, elk, and moose all right up close. Although every thing about this trip was great I was honestly most impressed by the amount of animals that I saw from my stand. There was never a sit where I saw just 1 or 2 WT, it was always in the double digits. I can clearly remember on evening sit on a creek crossing the deer would not stop coming by my stand I lost count at how many I saw but it seemed to be at least 40-50, I ended up filling my doe tag that sit (that morning I filled my buck tag) I ended up with a excellent shot at a 6x6 bull elk (that I screwed up and never recovered) a 6x4 whitetail deer, doe WT, a ton of meat that I packed in coolers to take home and memories that will last a lifetime. I could not imagine having a better trip and am already looking forward to going back again!!
