First off let me start by saying we hunted during Super Storm Sandy. Who would have figured when we booked our hunt in January we would be dealing with the high winds and rain from a super storm. We were unable to hunt Tuesday morning because of the 60 MPH winds. The deer just weren't moving early in the week, I didn't see a shooter until the last evening, hence the poor rating for quality of animals. Our guides Heath and Jarod did everything they possibly could to put us on deer. We hunted the north camp in Killbuck which is more ag and small wood lots than big woods. They use a both ladder stands and hang on stands and if you are afraid of heights the hang on stands are not for you, these are about 25' up. The food is outstanding and plentyful, if you go away from the table hungry it's your own fault. The lodge is only 2 years old and comfortable with plenty of room. My only complaint was that all the stands were geared toward R/H shooters, so it you're a Lefty like me be prepared to have to move more for a shot opp. Aside from that I would definiatly go back.
