Hunter Comments
I recommend this outfitter

This was guided hunt number 14 for me, so I know what I want and I know the difference between a great guided hunt and a poor guided hunt. This was a great guided hunt. This would have been a great hunt even if I didn't get my antelope. At my age I don't measure a good hunt by if I kill an animal. I look at a number of different things. I have been from Maine to Florida and Canada. This was also my 2nd trip to Wyoming. This is my first time I went with Rusty Bogers. The last time I went to Wyoming I went with another outfitter and I did get my animal but when I had a chance to go back to Wyoming I wanted to go with someone else since the last time I went I felt like I was "just another hunter" Rusty will get my business again and again. From when my group of 8 hunters first arrived it was obvious from the condition of the camp that A double J cares about the details. The bunkhouse was clean and big enough for all of us. The trucks we would use daily were well taken care of and they had plenty of vehicles in case of a breakdown(there weren't) Rusty's wife Chris was a great cook and the food was plentiful-all home made and delicious. All the guides were knowledgible, patient, professional and entertaining as well as friendly. Everytime we left the house we all saw multiple animals ranging from small 9 inch antelopes up to 13 1/2 inch antelopes. They knew the area and they knew the game. It didn't matter that we had Rusty was our guide, the other guides were just as friendly and helpful. All hunters took their animals, in all honestly the guides worked harder than I've ever seen. We had a hunter with us who had difficulty walking and honestly wasn't that good a shot. I have never seen a more determined group of guides work to continually put the antelope with ranges from 40 yards out to mine taken at 382 yards. In fact there was a time that 2 guides took out 1 hunter to work to get him on his antelope and get him a shot he could eventually make. Everyone had multiple game sightings, multiple oportunities to shoot and everyone in camp harvested their game. Some of us even got a chance to take additional animals. I can not say enough about not only the whole operation and guide service but Rusty and his wife as well. Every aspect of this hunt went well from when we were all picked up at the airport to when we were all dropped back off at the airport. Real great people and a great job.
