We saw a TON of deer!! Rutting activity was wild!! I was pretty picky and was waiting for a gagger - he never showed. My partner arrowed a nice 4x4 at 20 yards. This deer was HUGE!! he weighed in at well over 300lbs, a monster even by our standards.

This is a very remote camp - the deer do not act like one would expect - they are very tolerant of human smell and humans in general. We had deer standing within 40 yards of the stand that didn't even run off when we got out in the evening. A 135" 5x5 trotted in grunting while we were taking field photos - he came to 10 yards and stood there!! This place is tailor made for getting close to SK whitetails. To be honest, bowhunting is a little new to Ralph, so he may need a little help with tuning up you treestand setup (that's what we did) - but his camp is first class in every way.
