Absolutely awesome hunting and numbers of birds! The weather was not good while we were there except for about 12 hours of the 3 days, but that's what happens in the spring. We were all able to kill our birds, and I killed a second. Lance runs a great hunt, with wonderful accommodations and a great family atmosphere! My brother in law and I brought our daughters and they had the time of their lives. Lance's lead guide, Justin, even took time to take us out to drive the bison ranch and hand feed the animals while it was too windy and raining to hunt. Got to watch the actual birth of a bison calf out in the field and Justin even took time to play a game of monopoly with the girls...truly a first class operation!!!
Thanks Mike. You and your whole crew were a real delight to hunt with and you braved the less than ideal weather like real hunters. I look forward to having you back again.
The first evening hunt was cut short by severe thunder and lighting and rain. Most of the second day was a washout with HIGH winds and rain. Nonetheless, I was able to kill a bird on the first and 3rd mornings.
