Where do I begin, this was my first time at Whitetail Heaven and I could write a novel on how great this outfitter is, the food was fantastic, we had three full course meals everyday at breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it was literally the best food I have ever eaten. Tevis (the owner) was great and welcomed me as soon as I seen him, and treated me like family from the start. The guides were professional and dedicated to me having success in the field, they were always making sure they had back up plans incase birds got hung up or something went wrong. To prove how dedicated these guys are, the second day there, I missed a bird that morning, but my guides and Tevis were constant contact always having back up plans for these types of things. I had 3-4 more areas all to my self I could go hunt, and there were about 10 guys in camp that weekend. We moved to another location and I ended up killing a trophy gobbler the same day that I had missed. Every location I heard or seen birds. This outfitter is top notch and I would recommend it to anyone. Also, as I was walking through the woods, there were tons and tons of deer sign, the trails that looked like cattle trails and they were fresh! And keep in mind these animals are completely fair chase, no high fences whatsoever. I'm definetly going back to turkey and deer hunt. You'll miss out if you don't book with this outfitter, it's truly a professional operation.
