Warmer than normal temperatures, wolves pressuring the herds, huge hockey tournament, white-out conditions were not enough to dampen the spirit of the hunt and this adventure. The people are great, the landscape stunning and the trip was great. I shared camp with a father-son team (gun hunters) and they were fun. Camp was a cabin outside of town. We drove about 35 km before running into the first herd. We moved up and took the first good bull that presented a shot. Hotel rooms are expensive! One slight problem was trying to arrainge flights when they kept getting cancelled. Just another part of the trip to remember. Shane Black (VP of Operations for CNO) was at the hotel and helped a ton with logistics. He's a good guy too! I wish I had taken more pictures!
