This was an early september bow season caribou and baited black bear hunt. First of all, this combination shouldn't exist as I found out during the hunt. There wasn't enough time in the day to hunt caribou and then get sent to your bear stand. I was advised to shoot any decent caribou I saw so I could spend time on bear stand. I tagged out early in the hunt and hunted 2 stands for bears that the baits were never hit. I believe 8 of the 11 hunters in camp were successful. Too crowded of a camp for me.
