Armells Creek Outfitters

If you are looking to archery hunt the Missouri Breaks using an outfitter I feel that this hunt would meet your expectations. Elk opportunity is very high, and trophy potential is probably 270-320 with better a possibility on the later dates I went. I would try to book earlier dates for higher trophy potential. The guide worked his tail off to make his hunters successful. Quality, managed real estate to hunt, and food and accomodations are very good. I have since hunted the breaks on two occasions unguided and found the principles/tactics this outfitter uses in the breaks to be about the best you could use. Outfitter only takes 4 hunters during a hunt and guides two himself. Very nice folks.
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
There was more wind than normal, but that was the course of things throughout Montana that year. Also a hot, dry year, which made archery hunting over water holes in the evenings even better. Would look to earlier dates for this to be ideal. Rained the last day, making hunting difficult at best. One of four hunters took a 290 class 6 point and could have taken multiple white tail bucks. Another hunter had a shot on video he did not take at a 360 class bull, I missed a 270 class bull twice and the fourth hunter had an opportunity at a cow elk.
