Did Weather Affect your Hunt?
No - Weather not a factor
Weather Comments:
Weather was not a significant factor. Quiet wind conditions are best for calling and hearing responding or approaching moose. That is usually in the mornings and later evenings. We did have some less than ideal wind conditions. It rained one evening and one morning but on the latter we called in three bulls and had responses from five others. I saw four bulls, had another come in to where we had been calling but never had a clear ethical shot opportunity. The other two hunters in camp took bulls, one a 46" 7-8 year old bull. This was one of the best two organized and provisioned camps that I have ever been in. The outfitters and guides are quite capable and professional. I recommend them without hesitation.
