Booked this hunt in 2009 and finally made the trip. We had an incredible time. Joe put us in a good unit and we both connected on bulls. We actually killed mine and while processing his monster 60" charged in. I was happy with the food, the transportation and overall experience. Please PM me with any additional information. Some of the outfitted equipment needed attention, but overall the experience was well worth it. I personally will go back with a bow only. We could have killed both our bulls with a bow (and had them at camp) but that day it got really hot and we opted to just throw the rifles in as moose hunting is supposedly really slow during the heat. We learned a lesson and will bowhunt only from now on. After the hunt, Joe's staff had so many bulls down that logistically my horns did not reach Anchorage for me to pick up, as my dad drove up specifically to help us transfer our meat and horns back.
